The Coffee Area

We take great pride in our coffee and we have spent many years looking for the right one. Therefore after numerous years, even more numerous faces (and a very silly amount of coffee consumed) the Baristas in The Den stumbled across a very lovely blended coffee from the far flung shores and various regions of Central America, which is then shipped to Italy to be roasted as only they can. Finally it is delivered to us where we freshly grind it to your order and it is then carried straight to your table by one of our charming waitresses. The last step for you is to 'admire' the craftsmanship behind the coffee and savour the well balanced and smooth taste of the bean itself, (we say 'admire' the coffee because a close friend says that people eat and drink with their eyes as well as their mouth, and that is a fact!).

But, then again, if you fancy something a bit different from the standard Latte or Cappuccino then there is also brewed coffee, cafetière coffee, and soon, with the changing seasons, even more specialised coffees you might not even have heard of but will hopefully take a fancy to. There is also our sumptuous hot chocolate from Italy, a van load of different teas (very English teas at that) and decaffeinated coffee for those who prefer a coffee taste without the buzz.

Finally, to top all that off, (and as we said above) some other very nice people we know have agreed to scour the globe for us and every month supply us with a selection of single bean coffee from different areas of the world, because as every coffee seller should know, 'where' is just as important as 'how' with coffee.
